ENST Now Hiring for Two Positions

ENST is currently seeking candidates for the following positions: 

PhD Student Position

Description: The Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Maryland seeks a PhD student interested in carbon cycling, transformations, and transport in crop production systems. A competitive assistantship with full tuition waiver will be offered to the selected candidate. The selected student will lead a project investigating carbon cycling, transformation, and transport in Maryland soils that represent and simulate field practices typical of past, present, and future farming. Click here to learn more.

Agricultural Technician Lead 

Description: The Department of Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Maryland seeks candidates for a field Agricultural Technician Lead position to be located at College Park, MD. This position will support projects related to nutrient (nitrogen, phosphorus) transport from agricultural land to receiving water bodies. The successful candidate will work with a team of lab technician, post-docs, and students working on a range of projects to investigate the fate and transport of nutrients. The salary range for this position is $38,204 to $45,845, commensurate with experience. Health and retirement benefits are provided as similar to the state employees.
